I'm Krista Simmons, a writer, director, and producer telling stories through my digital media company, Fork in the Road Media.
I’ve covered global culinary cultures, hospitality, and tourism across platforms for over 10 years for top tier media outlets including Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure and the Los Angeles Times.
I’ve also appeared as a food expert on shows like Top Chef Masters, Knife Fight, Hell's Kitchen, and The Today Show.
My work has been given some pretty cool nods — a Webby Award for my work on Conde Nast Traveler’s City Guides, for instance, and Best Digital Video Campaign from the Caribbean Tourism Organization for the video series I produced and directed with Grenada Tourism. I’m also a Film Independent Fellow, and a participant in the Sundance Producers Lab.
